Anaesthesiology 

This department deals with anesthesia and related matters, including resuscitation and pain for both minor and major procedures before, during and after surgeries. 

The aim of this department is to safely support a patient’s vital functions throughout the perioperative period and provide controlled loss of sensation or awareness and deaden pain for invasive and minimally invasive medical procedures. 

An Anaesthetist was first employed to LHAH in April 2001 and the service has continued since then with inconsequential interruptions.
