The analysis of X-ray images of the body is an extremely valuable medical diagnostic tool. This is because X-ray allows for the non intrusive detection of dental cavities, bone fractures, lung disease, foreign objects, and diseased conditions such as cancer. The images show the parts of your body in different shades of black and white as the different tissues absorb different amounts of radiation.

This service was introduced in LHAH in March 2003 and the service has continued since then with inconsequential interruptions. Requisition forms are needed for each individual patient prior to accessibility of this service.
